Susan Kang

Susan Kang is an Associate Professor of Political Science at John Jay College of Criminal Justice/City University of New York.  She received a BA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a PhD from the University of Minnesota. Her research and teaching interests include international political economy, human rights, and international law. Her book Human Rights and Labor Solidarity: Trade Unions and the Global Economy was published by the University of Pennsylvania Press in 2012.  Her co-edited volume, Human Rights: Institutions and Practices, was published by University of Toronto Press in 2019. Prof. Kang is currently an editor of Global Constitutionalism, a Cambridge University Press peer reviewed scholarly journal.
