Sanja Hajdinjak

Sanja is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Geschwister-Scholl-Institute of Political Science at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, Germany, where she is working on ACCUPOL Horizon 2020 project. Her work focuses on the political and bureaucratic institutions and their role in determining developmental outcomes, including political, environmental and legitimacy aspects of development. Sanja’s research interests include research methodology, especially big data analysis, triangulation and mixed-methods. In general, Sanja is interested in developmental pathologies, including corruption, moral hazard, institutional decline and democratic backsliding. She obtained a PhD in Political Science in 2017 from the Central European University, Hungary.
